Double Picture Frame

frame.jpgYou will need:

  • 1 Long sheet stiff felt
  • 1 Small sheet stiff stick-on felt
  • Decorations: ribbons, lace, or anything you want to glue on
  • A piece of ribbon, about 14 inches long
  • Photographs (2)

Directions:

  1. For the picture borders: Trace out two 2" thick rectangular "frame" shapes on the small felt sheet. Make sure these are sized according to your photographs.
  2. Cut out these "frames". To make it easier to cut the inner side of the frame, neatly cut through the frame at a diagonal angle on any corner.
  3. Position your photos on the long sheet of felt. Then peel off the backing from your felt frame pieces and carefully stick these over the photos.
  4. Decorate along the edges, using glue to stick on ribbon, lace, etc.
  5. Punch or pierce a hole near the top corners of the sheet.
  6. Thread the 14" piece of ribbon through both holes. Make a knot a the ends so the ribbon does not slip through.
  7. The picture frame is ready to hang up!
